Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

"Overall the watch is average? The bezel of the watch doesn't click as it rotates therefore somewhat annoying seeing how its a compass, my point is that when the watch is pulled in and out your picket the bezel rotates therefore if I've read the wrongly makes it pointless. Secondly the hands are really difficult to see in the daylight oddly enough because the face colour is similar."

"First saw indiglo watches when I was a kid. But couldn't afford one. Now I'm older and can a bit more, so have a cheaper one and the battery is still going after 10 years wow. Just bought the expedition. Fabulous watch. Have paid a lot more for watches. But few I like as much. A lovely well thought out timepiece. Still fancy a Pan Am though"
