Tiny. Blue. Mischievous. Sound Familiar?

As a play on the nickname given to the color combo on the dial and bezel of our ‘70s Q Timex, seconde/seconde/ has injected a dose of fun into one of our most iconic watches. At first glance, it’s your typical Q—complete with stainless-steel case and bracelet, rotating bezel, functional battery hatch, luminous dial markings, and domed acrylic crystal— but take a closer look, and you’ll notice a customized second hand that playfully nods to the cartoon blue dial and bezel. We could spell it all out for you, but we’ll let you connect the dots. Flip the watch over, and you'll find that the case back is engraved with a unique edition number.

Acrylic Crystal

A lightweight plastic polymer with excellent impact resistance and a warm vintage appearance that can be easily polished to remove scuffs.

Acrylic Crystal

Highly impact-resistant

Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.
