- The Catena Caliber SA100 is a movement with a date. Does the Atelier have a ghost date position? i.e. When setting the watch, do you you pull the crown out one position to set the time, or is there a data set position that doesn't do anything, and a second position that sets the time, due to the date mechanism having been hidden, and not removed.
- Hello Alex and thank you for your insightful question! The Swiss-made CATENA SA 100 automatic movement is equipped with date but thoughtfully concealed from the design for a more refined look. When setting the time, simply pull the crown out to position 2 and turn until the desired time is reached, then return the crown to position 1. There is no active date-setting function, so while the movement retains its date capability internally, it does not interfere with the user experience.
