Smart and clean.
"The Marlin is the first time I'd bought a more expensive watch from an established brand. It looks sleeker in person - it's a pretty slender package and the blue dial is actually a dark blue, so it looks almost black at night. It's got a professional look to it. But it's not perfect. The build quality feels a bit shoddy. The singular button is only used to adjust the month and the amount the needle moves changes depending on how hard you press it. Plus the hands are a bit on the small side. At night it's quite difficult to make out the hands as the glowing luminescence is pretty dim. I've also come to the conclusion I prefer simpler watches with less info over chronographs. Still a solid first watch."

"Lovely watch for the price. My only complaint would be the lack of instructions for setting the date, time, month and moonphase. Worked it out by trial and error but instructions would still have been nice!"

"Another great looking watch at a very good price point. For me I would have loved a simpler design with no date, day, or month and just a larger Moonphase. The bracelet is what you would expect at this price and hence I switched it to a nice quality matching blue nato which was hard to find but worth it. Movement isn’t as accurate as others and because of these its not quite a 5 star."
