It blends seamlessly into the flat case sides, leaving only the lugs exposed. The case sides smoothly transition to a screwed-on exhibition case back that mirrors the crystal’s domed contour, enhancing the watch’s streamlined profile and space-age aesthetics. You’ll find a concentric circle pattern in three key locations on this timepiece: beneath the dome on the inner bezel, on the crown, and on the case back. "A great looking watch but feels and sounds cheap. The automatic mechanisms sound like they are grinding from the get-go so I don't hold out much hope for it's lifespan. I like the design of the fabric strap which allows for exact fitting on the wrist but taking everything into consideration I would say this watch is overpriced."

"The watch is a beautiful piece of classic 60s sytling, let down by a thin cheap looking and feeling blue strap. Once I had replaced the strap with a much better black and silver/grey stripe nato strap it was perfect."

"THe timex marlin is a stylish watch what is very good for the price i like the strap which i think compliments the watch i myself im not into nato style watch straps but i find this to be very smart well made and will last the Timex its self as come on leaps and bounds to what it used to be like plain in presentation but this marlin has taken Timex to another level the myota movement is a good movement but it would have been better with a swiss movement i know its to keep costs down but i think the look of the watch deserves it but overall that its a great looking watch for the price and ive looked at the British watch market and with the TImex marlin alot of watch for your pounds."
