Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. "Overall the watch is average? The bezel of the watch doesn't click as it rotates therefore somewhat annoying seeing how its a compass, my point is that when the watch is pulled in and out your picket the bezel rotates therefore if I've read the wrongly makes it pointless. Secondly the hands are really difficult to see in the daylight oddly enough because the face colour is similar."
