"im very happy with the watch. i was very specific on wanting a solar powered one. ive had battery and automatic ones that have been unreliable. my research found solar watches are very expensive or naff designs. i liked the timex one because of its military / unfussy design. i also love its 36mm size being smaller which fits my wrist better. i had to wait a few months for it to come back in stock, but i hadn't seen anything better for the price point, so i was really pleased when it became available again (i had checked every week). i ordered it on a thursday, and received it on saturday morning, which was also impressive. i have considered a thicker leather strap, but the green one is such a good colour that im not in a rush to change it. i really like putting it on for work in the morning, and pleasantly smile as i glance at it. was worth the wait, ive not seen anyone else with one like it"

"I was lucky to purchase this Field Post Solar Black case watch since it was Sold Out most occasions I looked on line. I have upgraded the rather nasty supplied nylon strap to a supple leather one in a Desert Sand colour which goes nicely with the period military look watch. Once fully charged the watch is keeping good time. The numerals are clear to read and I am pleased that there is no day or date display which would have detracted from the simple uncluttered dial. A set of instructions would have been helpful in setting up and charging this watch. All in all, I am very pleased with the look, and build quality and sits comfortably on the wrist."

"Light-weight as one would want a field watch to be but not feeling cheap. The weight is perfect and so is wearability. For this price point I challenge anyone to find a watch with sapphire crystal. The quality of the strap feels a bit below the rest of the watch but overall very happy."

"I really like the watch and had been after it for a while. As soon as it came into stock I pulled the trigger. Strap is OK but doesn’t match the one in the pictures, being a light tan. I have quite thin wrists, but the strap felt much shorter than other nylon NATO straps I have. Watch was drained out of the box and didn’t start ticking once set. I left this with the crown out by strong sunlight and it got going after an hour or so. No issues with the power reserve so far. Lume pips are small so not super bright, but it works OK. I like the aged patina to the lume. I think given the styling after a traditional military field watch, this would be better with a domed crystal to match the style and magnify the dial a little."
