Built with our proprietary fly-back chronograph movement designed in Pforzheim, Germany, the dial of our Waterbury Traditional Fly-Back Chronograph houses fan-shaped sub-dials at the 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions with retrograde hands. A single press of the fly back pusher instantly resets the chronograph to display the current time in the current lap without the need to stop and reset, and when the chronograph isn’t in use, the upper sub-dial doubles as a second time zone indicator. This watch boasts a robust 43mm stainless-steel case paired with a cruelty-free vegan leather strap. Other notable details include a date window positioned at 2:30, luminous hour and minute hands for enhanced visibility, 100m of water resistance, and the iconic stylized W of the Waterbury Watch Company logo displayed on the crown, sweep second hand, and beside the 7th hour marker.Specifications

Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

More than one should expect for the money!
"For everything going on with the dial it was the case that most impressed me. A nice combination of brushed and polished steel in a modern and simple style. The watch was very quick to set up, as was the chronograph hand to re-align. The regular second hand is set highest of the four central hands. Whether this is a design flaw or technical restraint the result is, at some angles, the hand appears not to be in line with the indices. The second time zone indicator is nearly too small to read but is still workable. The strap is surprisingly comfortable. No night light and lume is restricted to hour and minute hands but the flyback is a delight to use. For the price the watch is quite a triumph."
