The ‘80s Are Back

Call us nostalgic, but we love digging into our archives. This time we found a digital watch from the late ‘80s we just had to bring back. Our Q Timex® Digital LCA—liquid crystal analog—recreates the original right down to the unique digital/analog display. We’ve modernized it with a translucent resin case and coordinating resin strap available in grey, but kept the pre-INDIGLO® single-bulb backlight for a truly retro vibe. The result is a watch that’s just as useful, wearable, and appealing as it was more than four decades ago.

Acrylic Crystal

A lightweight plastic polymer with excellent impact resistance and a warm vintage appearance that can be easily polished to remove scuffs.

Acrylic Crystal

Highly impact-resistant

Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.
