A Fresh Dial Design Straight from the ’60s

This fresh update to our Marlin Automatic features the iconic dial and hand design from one of our best-selling Marlin watches from the '60s, complemented by a sturdy 40mm stainless-steel case and a black sunray dial. Ticking inside is a tried-and-true 21-jewel Japanese automatic movement that’s powered by your motion as you wear the watch and can store a maximum 40 hours of energy. If motionless for longer than 40 hours, wind the watch using the crown until you feel resistance, set the time, and place it back on your wrist where every motion will supply the energy. Crowning the case is a vintage-style domed acrylic crystal and complementing its smooth profile is a sleek stainless-steel bracelet.

Mechanical Automatic Movement

Automatic watches have no battery. Instead, these ""self winding"" movements use the natural movement of your wrist as a power source.

Mechanical Automatic

Powered by You

A mechanical automatic movement winds itself using the natural motion of your wrist — a rotor inside spins as you move, storing energy in a mainspring. This spring slowly releases power through a precise series of gears and an escapement, driving the hands in a smooth, sweeping motion. It’s a self-sustaining engine, no battery required. When worn daily, it stays powered continuously — keeping perfect time without needing to be reset.

Acrylic Crystal

A lightweight plastic polymer with excellent impact resistance and a warm vintage appearance that can be easily polished to remove scuffs.

Acrylic Crystal

Highly impact-resistant

Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.
